Today I am thankful for:
My Mom. She came from South Dakota to spend Christmas with me and even though I didn't have a Christmas Tree, we had a great time. We were able to go to the Kennedy Center for three different performances - all choral and all amazing. She was able to see my current office and see the neighborhood that I work in now. We ate great food, spent Christmas day in our pajamas, and were able to relax and enjoy each other's company. I am so thankful that she was able to spend the holiday with me and that even though I don't know when exactly we'll be able to see each other again, I know that we will.
